Eugene and his team are incredibly responsive and can design a system as complex - or as simple - as suits your needs. The proposal and invoicing process is crystal clear. FIKS worked seamlessly with our contractor and made sure everything was up and running before we moved in.
Their support crew is available 7 days a week, but our whole-apartment system has worked flawlessly since installation.

Fiks Consultants was the best referral I received during our massive pre-war renovation. I found Eugene Fiks to be a terrific problem solver and and an even better listener. I explained what we wanted and he delivered A+ service at every step of the process. We have a superb media room, a wireless system that has no dead or slow zones, and a wonderful sound system throughout our apartment. His follow-up service has been extraordinary. His patience with the 60-somethings, as well as the 20-somethings, in our household has been a breath of fresh air!

Eugene and his team are very thorough and professional. When they say something will get done - it will and in the manner agreed on, timing agreed on and price. They did a fairly complex sound (including in wall speakers), tv and wi-fi set up, as well as automatic blinds. We retained Fiks Consultants to install a TV and a sound bar and to setup the WiFi in our small, one bedroom apartment. We live out of state full time and Eugene coordinated everything and did an exceptional job. He is incredibly quick to respond to emails, which made working with him remotely a breeze. From the immediate response to my Saturday-night Thumbtack request to the Sunday morning house call, Eugene is a dream come true. He came to fix a very tough problem in the inside-wall wiring for our home theater system, but managed to solve several other problems so thorny we had given up. I'm so confident in his skill and expertise, we are asking him to install more devices we've always wanted but were afraid would never work properly when added on to our existing system.
It’s been three months since Fiks Consultants installed a brand new, state-of-the-art A/V system in my recently renovated apartment — and I couldn’t be happier with the results. When I first brought the project to Eugene, I only had a high-level sense of what I wanted. After describing it to him, he helped bring my vision to a more defined level, outlined a very detailed (and complex) wiring plan, and then executed it with meticulous precision. Everything works perfectly and seamlessly — new WiFi network, Sonos, Apple TVs, etc. And throughout the process, Eugene was incredibly responsive every time I reached out to him with questions. He was also very patient in helping explain things in language that I could understand. He even took the extra steps of setting up my Lutron app to control my motorized shades, as well as setting up my Echo — both free of charge. The guy is awesome. You can’t go wrong with Fiks.

I found Eugene and his team to be extremely attentive to my A/V needs while we were scoping our project; cost effective; and extremely responsive with any trouble shooting since. I was looking for a house-wide system that was smart but idiot proof—convenient but not over the top. Eugene tailored his proposal accordingly, and the finished product works like a charm.
